We will be accepting donations thru December 12th for the purpose of giving back to Sioux Falls. We have have a $500 matching grant. For every $10 given, $10 will be matched; we will buy as many $10 Hy-Vee gift cards with the total amount given. UPDATE: 12-17-15  These kind words were shared with us on Facebook, we are so excited to see the impact of God’s people taking place in our community.

I was standing at the City Bus Stop in front of the SD Dept. of Labor building on 10th street tonight waiting for the 6:45pm bus to take me home. I saw a pick-up truck pass me and then it suddenly turned into the DOL parking lot and drove in my direction. I grew concerned because this is not a particularly safe area to be in at night. When the truck stopped 5 feet from me and man got out and started walking toward me the first thought that went thru my mind was I was going to get robbed or it was someone that was really angry at me. I calmed my nerves as best I could and prepared for the worst…

When the man stopped in front of me he brandished a warming smile, handed me an envelope, and said “Merry Christmas!” I look toward his truck and the man’s wife was also brandishing a warming smile. The cover of the card and the inside message are pictured… also inside the Christmas Card was a $10 Gift Card from Hy-Vee Food Stores.

These were God Loving Christians committing Random Acts of Kindness. You got to Love them for whom they are! To this Gentleman and his Wife… Thank You for your Kindness! I wish you would have picked someone in more need of this gift card… God will reward you for your generosity and kindness!
